Everyone here was very nice, they got my dog in quickly for an unplanned surgery and were half the price of our usual vet which made the drive from Salina worth it.

Tonight, as I’m about to do bedtime routine alone with my 1 yr old, I found that my dog ate about 8 Reese’s from one of those Christmas candy canes. I immediately started calling emergency vets near me hoping I wouldn’t have to load up my child and dog and do all of that on my own. But no answers. I live in the middle of nowhere not close to any major cities where an open ER vet would be so I started calling places I’ve been before, but still no answers. So I called my hometown’s vet I’ve never been to before with my dog and talked with Dr. Jesse. She talked me through what I could do and 2 hours later I think we are all good. I’m just so thankful I got an answer and she was very helpful making sure I got my Luna the right dosage of what I had on hand. Thank you Dr. Jesse

After making the difficult decision to have our sweet girl Sharla put to rest, I knew there was only one place in the area to call. From my conversations with Alexis and the staff at EAC over the phone to having the doctor come to our home with his assistant to perform the procedure, they have always been genuine, kind, and compassionate. They never overcharge or inflate costs; they have always been upfront with me and treat my dogs like family whenever we visit for shots or checkups. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere if you're seeking a vet for your furry companions. This is the place to go. Thank you, Ellsworth Animal Hospital, for helping guide our Sharla across the rainbow bridge. 🫶🏼
