Tanglewood Veterinary Clinic

We have been taking our dog to Tanglewood for the past few years. Last fall, he developed an allergic reaction to something and was constantly itching. We brought him in, and Dr. Bonnie recommended giving him Benadryl. We followed her recommendation, and at the time, it seemed to help. This year, when the weather started to warm up, our dog developed the same issue again. We tried giving him Benadryl as we had previously, but this time it only seemed to make him sleepy while the itching continued. We ultimately decided to get a second opinion and tried a new veterinary clinic that recently opened. The new vet was able to identify what was causing our dog's allergic reaction and prescribed the appropriate medication. Since starting the medication, his itching has stopped completely, and he has had no side effects. There was also a hiccup when transferring our dog's medical records from Tanglewood. She claimed that she was unable to find him in her system, even though we had been bringing him to Tanglewood for several years. The new vet also notified us that our dog was due for his rabies vaccination soon, even though he had received his rabies shot at Tanglewood in June/July. This has left me questioning whether his records at Tanglewood were accurate and up to date. Overall, I would still recommend Tanglewood to others. Their prices are reasonable, and we had a good experience for the most part. However, I do feel that there were times when additional steps could have been taken to investigate our dog's symptoms and provide more thorough care.

I went there twice, nobody was there the first time, the second time, I saw a woman in the desk, I nock the door and she ignored me, I called the phone she have on the door and when she finally answered me, she told me she was leaving, she don’t even ask nothing and she closed the door, I was with my baby kitten she is 4 weeks old, I I’m really concerned about her, she had been pooping with blood and liquid tbh I’m crying because of this, idk what to do, in looking for another vet

This is a great veterinary clinic. We have taken both our dogs there for years. Bonnie takes her time with your pet. Highly recommend.

So thankful for you for helping me and my cat! So far just had nail trim and previously some anal gland issues from a past cat. Very good, fast and knowledgeable. I’m glad you are here to help!
